The two main characters had great chemistry right from the start and I really liked Patrick, the Scottish Highland time traveller. These aspects, history and time-travel, were woven into the story rather nicely. I couldn’t loose myself in to actually being her. Jul 30, The Window Seat rated it liked it. I really liked the premise of the book. Garde enjoyed this book, although I thought it dragged a little towards the end.
No trivia or quizzes yet. I was flying through it, but I nearly but this one kurlannd the never to read pile because I was pushing myself through the first pages. Her trip starts out well, but then of course things start to go downhill when her ex shows up, her luggage disappears along with her money, her passport and everything else.
If you like scottish highland stories or old english lords and ladies, then this is a great author to look up. Because if she is an example of what HLS churns out, I’m really not impressed. If she were a medieval woman, I could understand that. Doesn’t have a lot of the usual steamy sex scenes but is a tender and romantic story. Okay, I am a huge Lynn Kurland fan. This is one of my favorite from Kurland.

This is the first book of Lynn Kurland’s that I have read, and I really enjoyed it. I liked it, but I didn’t feel the connection between these two, one minute he is being a douche and the next he just off and kisses her, no build up, zero romance Madelyn has baggage but so does Patrick.
It was not a predictable romance. So knowing that she is going to have to find another, she decides to go on Loved it! Adding insult to injury, he steals her clothing and passport, causes her rental car to be repossessed, and follows her around as she sightsees in an attempt to ruin her trip and mold her to his will.
